Alleviates pain and swelling in the finger nails and phalanges, and stiffness in hands. Causes a coppery taste and burning throat, with a white, cracked tongue. Useful for phlegmonous inflammations, hastening and shortening suppuration. Often prevents surgery. Effective in the suppurative stage of otitis media and for fistula in ano. Sometimes more effective than Hep or Sil.
