A potent emmenagogue in physiological doses, Goss. is homeopathically suited for various reflex conditions linked to disturbed uterine functions and pregnancy. It alleviates delayed menstruation, particularly when there is a sensation that the flow is imminent but not starting. Suitable for anemic patients with nervous chills.

Head: Pain in the cervical region, head tending to draw backward, associated with nervousness (cervical spondylosis).

Stomach: Nausea and urge to vomit before breakfast, anorexia with discomfort in the upper abdomen during menstruation.

Female: Swollen, itchy labia, intermittent ovarian pain, retained placenta, breast tumors with axillary gland swelling, morning sickness with a sensitive uterine region, suppressed menstruation, watery menses, backache, pelvic heaviness, uterine subinvolution, fibroids, gastric pain, and debility.
